PAUL & LESLIE MONSON

Paul and Leslie Monson were classmates in seventh grade, and eventually sweethearts at the end of their Senior year in Manti High School.  After Paul served in the Texas, San Antonio Mission, they were married in the Manti Temple in 1980. They attended Utah State University, where they both graduated with their Bachelor's degrees.  Paul began his lifelong career teaching Seminary and Institute.of Religion in Pocatello, Idaho. He also earned his Masters Degree in Educational Administration at ISU.   After many different assignments that included teaching and administrative positions, He is currently teaching Institute at Utah Valley University until he retires at the end of 2025. Leslie missed her college graduation as she delivered their first baby at that time. They now have five children, and fifteen grandchildren.  While raising a family, Leslie enjoyed teaching gospel doctrine classes for a total of six years in different wards. She's also taught a women's Institute class at the prison, BYU-YSA Institute classes and a class at UVU.  :She also loves serving as an ordinance worker in the temple. They both love teaching the gospel and love spending time with family and friends and traveling any chance they get.  Leslie noted that they have been married and Paul has taught religion longer than the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness!  Speaking of wandering, they love traveling and seeing new sights and meeting new people!  They invite you to come "wander" with them through Go and do Travel!
