Bruce Newbold worked sixteen years in the entertainment business in Hollywood as an actor and writer. (See online page for credits.) He has appeared in faith-based films such as, The Restoration of the Priesthood; How Rare a Possession: The Book of Mormon; Testaments: One Fold and One Shepherd; Finding Faith in Christ; Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration; Only a Stonecutter; 17 Miracles; He Knows My Name; Christmas Oranges; The Saratov Approach; The Book of Mormon Videos; and Escape from Germany. He has authored four books: In Our Fathers’ Footsteps (based on the 1997 Mormon Trail reenactment expedition), and three fantasy novels in The Baseball Box Prophecy series. His one-man dramatization depicting the life of Christ, In Him Was Life, (wherein an equivalent to one of the Gospels has been memorized) has been performed before audiences throughout the United States and in England.

In 2008, he was hired by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to write and produce media. Sharing with travelers a unique artistic perspective from having produced, directed, and/or performed in Church History and Biblical films, Bruce has conducted tours in the United States, the British Isles, Israel, Jordan, Turkey, Greece, and the Caribbean. 

Bruce Newbold is married to the former Lisa Lindsay. They have five children and nineteen grandchildren.
